of the most famous scenes of natural beauty in the region. It consists of

The most recognizable symbol of Jajce is its magnificent 20meter high waterfall (situated at the place where the river Pliva flows intothe river Vrbas). The waterfall is in the heart of the town, making Jajce oneof the most unique towns in the world.

OPTIONAL: Excursion to Kravice (duration approx. 4 hrs)When you arrive at Kravice it’s really amazing view.Among the most fascinating naturalistic features of theHerzegovinian region are the sparkling waterfalls of Kravice. Thewaterfall was created by the Trebizatriver with its tuff deposits, and has been declared a natural phenomenon which is understate protection. Tuff is typical for rivers rich in calciumcarbonate. Grass, moss and lichen grow on the tuff deposits. Itsheight is between 25 - 28 meters and the radius of the lake in thebase of the waterfall is 120 meters. As the water levels of theTrebizatriver change, the waterfalls look different at different times of the year. In the summer, the emeraldgreen waters of the lake below the waterfalls give them a unique ambiance of water, stones and trees.

The sightis breathtaking with the cold green river rushing out of a cave under atowering cliff. Interestingly, perhaps because of its southern facing locationor because it is in the wind shadow the temperature here is always mild, even in the midst of winter. The area of Stolac has been attracting people since prehistoric times with itsMediterranean charm, good water, serene sky, tame landscape and harmony ofnatural beauties.
